KiLynn King and Red Velvet pick up wins on AEW Dark

For the second week in a row, AEW Dark had five women’s matches on its highly stacked card. Like most week’s we saw some debuts from indie talent. The debuts this week were Vipress and Lady Frost. The results for the matches were as follows:

Big Swole defeated Vipress

Red Velvet defeated Tesha Price

KiLynn King defeated Rache Chanel

Penelope Ford defeated Dream Girl Ellie

Ivelisse & Diamante defeated Lady Frost & “Bionic Beast” Jenna

For those that are keeping track, this would be Red Velvet and KiLynn King’s second wins in singles matches. King won her first match in October against Lei’d Tapa and Velvet won against Elayna Black in the same month. Velvet does have a tag team win with Brandi Rhodes in her win column as well. These two women have become staples to AEW Dark.

We also were treat to a new episode of Britt Baker‘s “The Waiting Room.” Her guest this week was Tay Conti.

After flubbing Conti’s name, Baker intended to get to know one of the newer members of the AEW women’s roster. The host asked her guest who her favorite female wrestler is in AEW. Besides Anna Jay, Conti responded with Serena Deeb and Red Velvet.

When she didn’t say Baker’s name, this causes great concern to the host. Baker then prompted her to add her name to the list. Conti would then say she would love to wrestle the AEW Women’s World Champion, Hikaru Shida.

Baker would then ask Conti a mail call question which asked what Conti’s relationship status was. She refused to answer that personal question which angered Baker.
