Impact is holding their Final Resolution special event Saturday night at 8 pm ET (Dec. 12, 2020). The show is available for viewing through the Impact Plus app. Let’s break down the card.

Final Resolution is rolling with nine matches:

  • Impact World Championship: Rich Swann (c) vs Chris Bey
  • Impact Knockouts Championship: Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs Rosemary
  • Defeat Rohit Challenge: Rohit Raju vs TBA
  • Karl Anderson vs Ethan Page
  • Eric Young vs Rhino
  • Larry D vs Tommy Dreamer
  • Tenille Dashwood & Kaleb Konley vs Eddie Edwards & Alisha Edwards
  • Hernandez vs Fallah Bahh
  • Sea Stars (Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo) vs Havok & Nevaeh

Chris Bey tried to finesse his way into a title shot against Rich Swann, but the champ wasn’t having it. Swann wanted Bey to earn it like everybody else. That led to a bout against Swann’s best bud, Willie Mack. Bey lost clean. In a post-match skirmish involving Moose, Bey attacked Swann. Apparently, that was good enough to make the Final Resolution main event with gold on the line. Despite the weak story, the fight should be a delight.

Taya and Rosemary defeated Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee in the Knockouts tag title tournament. Purrazzo complained to Scott D’Amore about her busy schedule as champ, so he sarcastically dished out a Knockouts title defense. Rosemary was given the nod due to earning the winning pin.

Rohit Raju will be issuing an X-Division challenge open to anyone, except TJP. The belt may or may not be on the line. Rohit is a weasel who changes the rules to his benefit. Due to a previous loss to Rohit, TJP is not allowed another X-Division title opportunity. However, don’t count out an appearance from TJP under the Manik mask.

Ethan Page has failed thus far to earn The North a title rematch against the Good Brothers. Page blew it by losing to Swoggle. After injuring Luke Gallows, Page requested another chance. This time against Karl Anderson. A win by Page earns the tag title shot.

Eric Young and Joe Doering have been interrupting matches to beat people up. Rhino stood up to them, so they mauled Heath behind closed doors. Rhino plans to teach Young a lesson with a Gore.

Larry D shot John E. Bravo in the chest during his wedding. Technically, the perpetrator was Laurence D, a suave playboy created by Rosemary. Bravo wants justice and Larry in jail. Tommy Dreamer stepped in as locker room leader to handle the situation. That led to an Old School Rules challenge with an interesting twist. If Larry wins, he walks free. If Larry loses, then he will turn himself over to the authorities. In case you wondering, yes, Dreamer has the power to drop attempted murder charges.

Tenille Dashwood and Alisha Edwards formed a team to compete in the Knockouts tag tournament. Upon defeat, Tenille desired to dissolve the partnership, but Alisha talked her into working it out. Alisha ended up dumping Tenille after she showed no concern for Eddie Edwards’ well-being from a bat attack by Sami Callihan. Now, it will be wife and husband versus social media influencer and photographer.

Fallah Bahh stole Hernandez’s wad of cash. Hernandez wants it back. To muddle the mess, Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz stole the money from Bahh. A match was made with the moolah on the line. Kiera will be special referee, and Tasha will be ring announcer.

Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo versus Havok & Nevaeh has no story build.
