The most grotesque injury on NXT this week wasn’t Rhea Ripley’s ear
Ts and Ps for Candice LeRae’s WarGames trophy.
Given that the Dec. 16 edition of NXT featured two hellacious, main event-level matches steeped in history like Kyle O’Reilly vs. Pete Dunne and Toni Storm vs. Rhea Ripley, it’s not surprising that most of the folks in those matches landed on the Matt Camp’s weekly Injury Report.
But other than Rhea getting yet another reminder that maybe she should wear less ear jewelry at work, it doesn’t seem like she, Dunne, or O’Reilly were seriously hurt on Wednesday night.
The ridiculous prize Johnny Gargano had made for his wife’s WarGames victory over Shotzi Blackheart at TakeOver earlier this month? Hopefully it will be okay. But when Indi Hartwell used the green-haired trophy as a weapon against the green-haired Superstar, it got jacked up badly enough to earn a spot in Camp’s video.
