Ring of Honor parts ways with Marty Scurll

Cageside Seats

The company revealed as much just a short time ago:

Scurll was named in the #SpeakingOut movement in early 2020, where a woman alleged he sexually abused her while she was 16 years old and drunk. He released multiple statements in response, though neither was received well.

Ring of Honor didn’t initially respond, later announcing an investigation into the claims being made against Scurll and all talent contracted to the company. He was removed from the promotion’s website late last year and all indications were he would be gone. Now, ROH has made it official.

The above statement is the extent of the company’s comment on the matter.

This all happened within months of Scurll signing a new deal with Ring of Honor after obvious speculation he could be AEW bound with the rest of The Elite crew. This ends a four year run in Ring of Honor for Scurll.
