Updated list of confirmed entrants in men’s, women’s Royal Rumble matches

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw may have been dedicated to a bunch of returning Legends but we still got new entrants confirmed for both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches both before and during the show.

On the women’s side, Charlotte Flair declared herself before Raw ever went on the air. She will attempt to go back-to-back after winning last year’s match (and eventually going on to win a title at WrestleMania).

On the men’s side, AJ Styles asked everyone to forget about 2020 and remember his big debut in the Rumble in 2016. He’s promising to finally win the big one five years later. Randy Orton also threw his name in the hat during a backstage segment.

That brings the numbers of wrestlers who declared for each match to four and two, respectively. Here’s who is confirmed for each match so far:

Men’s Royal Rumble

• Daniel Bryan
• Bobby Lashley
• AJ Styles
• Randy Orton

Women’s Royal Rumble

• Nia Jax
• Charlotte Flair

It’s worth pointing out that Shayna Baszler hinted at doing the same as Jax, but WWE has yet to make that official.
