Ziggler & Roode win SmackDown tag team titles

It was a surprise when WWE decided to take the SmackDown tag team titles off The Street Profits, who lost them to Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode on Friday Night SmackDown this week.
The story of the match was the fact that, well, they ensured Montez Ford came into the evening at something less than 100-percent. He sold a leg injury all throughout the affair and while he fought valiantly to overcome the odds, the Dirty Dawgs were just too much. Once Angelo Dawkins was taken out, Ford was easy pickings.

Now we have new SmackDown tag team champions.
Immediately after, WWE official Adam Pearce was shown backstage talking to Sonya Deville, his new assistant, about having the two teams go at it in an immediate rematch. That could be on the card at Royal Rumble on Jan. 31.
Stay tuned for that.
