Red Velvet makes a huge statement on AEW Dynamite
On this week’s AEW Dynamite Red Velvet got involved in the biggest match of her career while the rivalry between Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa reached boiling point.
Red Velvet cut a fiery promo on Jade Cargill as Cody replied to Shaq’s challenge. It looks as if we are getting Shaq and Cargill vs Rhodes and Red Velvet at Revolution on March 7th.
If the match is to happen then this is huge for Red Velvet and very well deserved. Velvet made her AEW debut just six months ago as an “enhancement” talent on Dark. During this period she had grown and evolved into main roster talent that is on the verge on a massive mainstream pay-per-view match.
The anitcipation for Britt Baker vs Thunder Rosa builds.
Shanna and Baker put on a great physical match that allowed Baker to really show off her vicious side. Shanna fought well and valiantly but Baker’s assistant Reba/Rebel came into play, which gave Baker control for most of the match.
The Lockjaw forced Shanna to tap out but that wasn’t enough for the evil dentist and she applied it again after the bell. This second submission hold caused Rosa to hit the ring and send the heels scurrying.
After weeks of attacks and insulting promos, Baker and Rosa will finally meet next week on AEW Beach Break.
Speaking of Beach Break we are getting AEW’s first-ever wedding between Kip Sabin and Penelope Ford. We all love a wrestling wedding because there is absolutely no way it is going as planned. Expect chaos, tears and wedding cake everywhere.
