Meiko Satomura reportedly joining NXT UK

According to an article in Tokyo Sports Japanese wrestling legend, Meiko Satomura will be joining NXT UK.

The article states that Satomura will be in the UK as soon as November. It reports that she will take up a coaching role as well as an in-ring competitor with NXT UK.

There is no official word from WWE or Satomura as of yet but at the Miyagino Ward Cultural Center Tournament, she announced that she will be limiting her participation in Sendai Girls.

Satomura is no stranger to WWE or the UK. She participated in the Mae Young Classic in 2018 where she reached the semi-finals. She was PROGRESS women’s champion in 2019 and the Fight Club Pro champion for 350 days.

Earlier this year Satomura celebrated her 25th year in professional wrestling. She is one of the most well-respected wrestlers on the planet and widely considered as one of the best wrestlers in history.
