We’re still not sure how Candice LeRae is alive after Halloween Havoc
WWE’s YouTube
Halloween Havoc was a hell of a show, and its angles and matches had a little something for every kind of wrestling fan.
The Oct. 28 show also resulted in a jam-packed edition of Matt Camp’s NXT Injury Report.
We admit we were curious how Cameron Grimes’ kayfabe status would be addressed coming out of his trip through the Haunted House of Terror match, but mostly we were concerned about Candice LeRae’s actual health after her Tables, Ladders & Scares loss to Io Shirai – and this spot in particular:
We knew the Poison Pixie was okay enough to participate in a fantastic fallout video with her now-wheel-loving husband, and new North American champ, Johnny Gargano. But it’s still nice (and pretty amazing) to hear she’s expected to be able to work next Wednesday’s show.
Here’s the full report and a list of what it covers:
- Damian Priest: Shoulder injured from fall caused by being smashed over head by tombstone; day-to-day
- Candice LeRae: knee and back injuries from * gestures broadly at the entire main event *; multiple injuries evaluated at local medical facility; currently not cleared to compete, but day-to-day and expected to be cleared by next Wednesday
- Kyle O’Reilly: Sustained back, hand, and face injuries while getting his ass-kicked by Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch; not medically cleared and considered week-to-week.
- Cameron Grimes: Suffered upper body injuries (from Dexter Lumis’ finisher, and I guess also the zombies); currently not cleared to compete, but day-to-day and expected to be cleared by next Wednesday
