What’s going on?
Well… according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Oberver, he seems to think WWE would have no issues in bringing CM Punk back.
The fact of the matter
Dave Meltzer said this piece of information when taking about Mauro Ranallo’s unexpected return to the WWE as the new NXT commentator.
He said that WWE is a company that even if someone leaves, everybody eventually comes back too. To quote:
“That’s why, no matter what is said, WWE wants CM Punk back and even though CM Punk was adamant about never doing it, history tels you time heals a lot of wounds.”
And while this doesn’t exactly confirm any sort of return by Punk, any time soon. Meltzer is right in what he saying, I mean look at Warrior. Took him over 20 years to finally come back to the WWE but the point is, he still came back!
Bret Hart, Warrior, The Dudley Boyz, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, The Hardy Boyz, Mickey James, even Kurt Angle have all come back over the years. And there is many more to add to that list but regardless on how things have ended with WWE in the past, things have a way of sorting things out.
